Il va falloir au minimum 2 ans pour que Virginie devienne Vincent.
La transition physique de Vincent a commencé à l’automne 2015 avec le début de l’hormonothérapie. Depuis, la réalisatrice a filmé les différentes étapes: suivi psychologique, changement d’état civil, premières chirurgies. Le tournage se fait en immersion dans le milieu professionnel et familial de Vincent. L’objectif de cette campagne est de réunir le financement nécessaire pour tourner les événements de l’été et de l’automne 2017 décisifs dans la fin du parcours de Vincent.
Le tournage devrait être terminé à la fin de l’automne 2017. Les étapes de post production pourront alors démarrer.
It will take at least 2 years for Virginie to become Vincent, between the hormonal therapy, the various surgeries and the official change of identity.
Vincent’s physical transition began in the fall of 2015 with the hormone therapy. The director has been filming all the stages until the first surgeries. The filming is done in immersion in Vincent’s working environment as well as in his family.We need to complete the journey with a filming crew to document the crucial events of the summer and fall 2017.
Filming is expected to be completed by the end of the fall 2017. The post production stages will then begin.
